We start by listening and understanding your goal, and then build the right program tailored to your needs.

HOW DO WE MEASURE

RESULTS?

We start with a baseline test that measures the following: 

  • Body fat percentage testing

  • Lean mass percentage testing

  • Basal metabolic rate testing

  • Hydration Testing

  • Flexibility Measurements

  • Full Body Measurements

Once we have your baseline information we follow three simple steps:  

  1. Set a goal. We help you set a goal that is specific, measureable and set within an achievable timeframe. 

  2. Customize a plan. We coach you through specific exercises, track your progression and help you stay motivated. 

  3. Re-evaluate. We take your baseline measurements again and adjust your program as needed.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT AND IN HOW MUCH TIME?

This is a great question (that almost everyone asks)! 

Progression is our goal and we do our best to ensure you're consistently moving forward, but commitment from our clients is expected and required to reach results! 

We know it takes hard work and we're here to help guide you 

through some tougher lifestyle choices that can make the difference between the goal 'idea' and the goal 'result'. We work on framing your mindset goals as much as your body goals to ensure success is possible and attainable. Everyone has obstacles that pop-up along the way. We understand and can create ways to work around them throughout the process. 

When the goal is yours (not someone else's); when the goal is a stretch (but not impossible) and when the goal is attached to a vision of who you are becoming (not who you are now), then your results will be fast and fabulous! 

WHAT ARE THE TRAINING SESSIONS LIKE?

We don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all” training session. Each person has their individual strengths and weaknesses and your program will reflect your goals and tolerance. 

In general: 

  • Every session offers varied exercises, duration and skill level. 

  • 4-6 week blocks of focused learning and training with each person 

  • We monitor and continually reassess movements and the overall program to ensure maximum results.

There is no judgement at The Northwood Club. We are incredibly happy that you have chosen to start (or restart) your health journey here and you should be proud of yourself for prioritizing your health and wellness. It is our job to help you get started safely and with the best care possible. 

We explain in detail to each new member the importance of a well-tailored program. We focus on building strength, increasing mobility, improving your heart health, as well as helping you choose the right food and healthy sleep habits. 

Most people that walk through our doors have heard more fitness advice than they need in a lifetime. Knowing where to start and how to get the results you want can feel overwhelming. We take away the noise and help you focus on your goal, so you can elevate your fitness and optimize your success!
