Barre is a full body cardio workout that strengthens and lengthens muscles, while focusing on coordination, balance, and stability. Balls and bands are incorporated to enhance movements.

 An energizing and vigorous class combining the cardio conditioning of hi and lo stepping and the muscle strengthening components of movement. This overall body workout has it all - endurance, balance, coordination and best of all - fun!

Boot Camp

Sweat-inducing, body weight workout designed to condition each muscle group. Expect a combination of cardio, core, and muscular endurance exercises starting with a warm-up and ending with a deep stretch. Beginner friendly!

Peter is the President and co-owner of The Northwood Club. Prior to establishing The Northwood Club in Collingwood, Peter was part owner of The Yorkville Club in Toronto. 

 

Peter has combined his business acumen with his own fitness journey to deliver a personalized and prestigious experience for each client at The Northwood Club. He understands what it’s like to adopt a healthier lifestyle and aims to make the journey for each client at The Northwood Club as enjoyable and educational as it was for him.

LUKE MCMILLAN

VICE-PRESIDENT AND CO-OWNER OF TNC

CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINING SPECIALIST

Luke is a Personal Trainer, Vice-President and co-owner at The Northwood Club. His approach is unique to each client and their specific health-related goals; this includes clients rehabilitating from injury or surgery to those looking to enhance their body composition. 

 

Luke strongly believes in refining the skills necessary to succeed in any fitness program. He is passionate about exercise and nutritional sciences and is motivated when clients understand their true potential.

 

With certifications as a Personal Training Specialist, GLPTI certification and CPR and First Aid, Luke is committed to continual education in the health and fitness space, while applying his learnings to each and every client.  Meet Luke at The Northwood Club and get started on your custom fitness journey. 

 

Fun fact: Luke is an active bodybuilding competitor and has several 1st place finishes over the past 7 years. His greatest achievement was 1st place at the 2017 Provincial Championships at the OPAs Toronto Pro/Am event.
